Based in Wellingborough, Re-Percussions creates stunning and unique furniture and lighting pieces made from upcycled drum kits. The latest additions to their range are cool, funky and functional pet beds made from recycled percussion drum kits.
Made from old drum kits
Re-Percussions scours the country for drum kits (and brass instruments) that are no longer wanted or used but still in good condition. Each drum is stripped down to its casing, the skins cleaned or replaced, chrome fittings polished, housings repainted and reassembled.
Unique style
Giving a new lease of life to items that would otherwise be discarded is key to the Re-Percussions philosophy.
Gary Allen, owner of Re-Percussions, said, "Our aim is to create exclusive, bespoke items each with its own unique style. We have been making coffee tables, occasional tables and floor or table lamps for a while now but have been blown away by the response to the new cat and dog beds!"
